Frank is no happier than when he’s away from the family, preferably in his potting shed “pricking out”. Modern life doesn’t suit Frank, he still harks back to the good old days when men were men, women cooked and TV was still in black and white.
Most things irritate him especially noise, tree huggers, people, politicians, self service checkouts, overpaid footballers, swearing TV chefs and mobile phones. Everything basically.
Frank maintains his greatest achievements are winning first prize for the largest courgette at the South of England Show in 1988, appearing in the background on an edition of Antiques Roadshow and marrying Dorothy.
In that order.
