Copywriting

Question: What makes a good business copywriter?

Answer: Listening skills

I’m often asked where I get my ideas from. The short answer is, the people I meet.

Writing great copy for business is not about ego or clever narrative trickery, moreover it’s a question of understanding a clients’ objective and writing a piece that clearly and powerfully distills the message whatever that might be. I rarely take on assignment without visiting the business I’m writing about; you simply cannot get the full picture from a remote conversation, brochure or website.

How I can help:

My role is to write dynamic copy with definitive outcomes. My experience is broad, but in summary clients use me for writing:

  • Promotional literature
  • Press releases
  • Business articles
  • Website copy
  • Email communications
  • Speeches
